Located in gorgeous LaCrosse Wisconsin, you would join three full time urologists and NPs plus a solid experienced staff. The NPs round, take notes and manage inpatient consultations. The urologists have all been there from 10 to 20 years and get along really well. All night time/weekend calls and transfers go to the doc on call. Call is every fifth night and fifth weekend. A typical work week is 1 ½ operative days and 2 ½ clinic days with ½ day for clinical procedures and 12 day for administrative time.
Lacrosse is a beautiful, progressive community with great scenery and a thriving downtown vibe as a college town. It is diverse for its size with ethnic grocery stores, lots of excellent restaurants and wonderful water recreation located on the banks of the Mississippi river just two hours from Minneapolis and Madison. Amazing hiking and biking on the bluffs above the river with lots of bald eagles migrating through the area. The LaCrosse Oktoberfest is massive with people coming from all over to enjoy it. Enjoy dining at Freighthouse, Lovehouse and Waterfront.
