This major teaching affiliate has committed to building a gender affirmation surgery program!
You would join a 7-person urology department recognized for its clinical and research excellence in urology.
Department includes general urology, endourology, urologic oncology, men’s health, female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery and urogynecology.
You would have core teaching responsibility for a 15-person urology residency program
The preferred candidate would have expertise in
the evaluation and treatment of urinary tract disorders, including urethral reconstruction, urologic prosthetic surgery (including artificial urinary sphincter and penile prosthesis procedures) urinary fistula management (both primary and graft procedures)
Gender affirmation surgeries (including vaginoplasty, metoidioplasty, phalloplasty and revision surgeries).
